This Privacy Policy explains how ICONS Digital Group BV (KvK 60385898), the Netherlands (“SocialFeeder”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use SocialFeeder. We act as data controller for account and billing data. Where you use the service to manage content on behalf of your own clients, you are the controller for that client data and we act as your processor.
1. Data we collect
Account data — name, email address, password (hashed), and role. Brand & content data — the brand information, media, captions, schedules and connected-channel identifiers you upload or create. Client & team data — names and emails of client logins or team members you invite. Usage & log data — activity, device/browser information and IP addresses, used for security and to operate the service. Billing data — plan, credit history and payment status; card/payment details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
2. How we use data and legal bases
We process personal data to: provide and maintain the service (performance of a contract); generate, schedule and publish content to your connected channels; meter and bill credits and subscriptions; send transactional email such as login links and invites; provide support; and keep the platform secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests). We rely on your consent only where required, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Sub-processors we share data with
We use trusted service providers to run SocialFeeder, each processing data only to provide their part of the service: Mollie (payments), Anthropic and fal.ai (AI text/image/video generation), Buffer and the social platforms you connect such as Instagram, TikTok and others (publishing), Amazon Web Services (hosting and media storage, EU region), and Brevo (transactional email). We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI processing
To generate content, prompts and the brand information you provide are sent to AI providers. We use business/API tiers that, per those providers’ terms, do not train their public models on your data. Do not enter special-category or highly sensitive personal data into the service.
5. Cookies and local storage
The application uses essential cookies and browser local storage strictly to keep you signed in and operate the service; these are required for the app to function. The marketing website uses minimal, privacy-preserving analytics where enabled and does not use advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, email us at hallo@socialfeeder.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We aim to keep data within the EU/EEA. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
